Enjoyed a very nice meal and an adult beverage. Enjoyed the salad with house vinaigrette, monkfish special and chose asparagus and brussel sprouts as sides. All of the food was exceptional! My husband ordered the meatloaf meal and enjoyed that too!

Excellent, elevated, elegant food and drink to a level that is somewhat unexpected in Hutchinson, MN. There is no need to drive 50 miles into the twin cities for the “best chefs” — they’re here! It is clear that Vincent and Amanda know quality food and drink. We loved our cocktails, appetizers, and the hanger steak. 10/10 highly recommend.

We had our wedding reception at Flank Steakhouse in December of 2021 and it was amazing! We love the ambiance of Flank, the decor, and the food! We were looking to have a small wedding and thinking outside the box - we were interested in having something small, local, and with really good food! We presented our idea to Vince and Amanda to have our wedding reception there and they were totally on board! They were excited to host, offered creative ideas, and were very responsive throughout the planning process! We reserved the whole restaurant and had around 85 people. It did not feel crowded and everyone had room to sit, walk, chat, and be served. Even the kids were pleased! They have my favorite beer on tap, along with a lot of other great options, including from local breweries! They also had amazing non-alcoholic options like strawberry mint lemonade. They served delicious appetizers - one my husband loved that was made of mushrooms (and he doesn’t even like mushrooms!). We had our meal served - surf and turf - which everyone loved! We chose the house salad and hanger steak with carrots and garlic mashed potatoes with a prawn. There were a lot to clean plates and many compliments! Regretfully, we don’t even have pictures of the main meal because we were too busy enjoying it. They also served a variety of desserts that our guests really enjoyed. I cannot give them enough praise! The wait staff and kitchen staff was also wonderful! Vince has some serious talent and passion for what he does and it shows! Amanda is very detail-oriented, creative, and such a gracious host. I recommend Flank Steakhouse to anyone - whether it is for lunch, a nice date night dinner, a get together with friends for drinks, or ... maybe even a wedding!

Wow. We got a gift card for Christmas and finally had a chance to come over and try out Flank Steakhouse. The restaurant is beautiful, staff is very friendly and the food is insanely good. I had the Hanger and my wife had the Teras Major, both were so good. The Hanger was cooked so perfectly, I savored every bite. The best part wasn't even the steaks, but the sides were amazing as well. The bacon jam carrots I had were the best carrots I've ever had. My wife had their butterscotch ice cream for dessert and it was so good she wanted to lick the dish. We will definitely be back and 10/10 highly recommend

It was very good, the steak was cooked perfectly, seasoned well and had a great crust. The black garlic mash was very flavorful, could have used extra spear or two of asparagus (I felt like 2 wasn't enough), but the hollandaisehad a bright citrus creaminess that added a nice freshiness to grill asparagus. French onion soup was very good, but i felt that it needed a thicker slice or more dense piece of bread with a little more cheese (it was missing the nicely browned and bubbly cheese cap), it had sunk into the soup. But, the soup did have a great slow caramelized sweetness with just the right amount of saltiness, almost ordered another bowl. Everything was perfectly seasoned, I never once had to add salt or pepper to anything! But wish they would have offered or brought me a complimentary warm bread basket with an herb or honey butter after the soup to fill the down time between courses, which was about 15-20 minutes. But overall it was an excellent first visit and I'm planning to come back to explore more on the menu.

Yum! So glad I ordered what I did and got to taste so many other dishes. I loved the flank steak, and it was medium rare-exactly how I ordered it. Mashed potatoes were fantastic and french onion soup was perfect. If you like brussel sprouts, you'll love the bourbon maple bacon sprouts! Highly recommend!

We celebrated an 18 year anniversary at Flank Steakhouse in Hutchinson last night, they blew my socks off. Even the music was perfect... To the entire staff you are AMAZING and your food unmatched in the ENTIRE area/state. And I know it, I'm a food snob. I commend the kitchen crew. Everything from SCRATCH!!! Chef, hats off!! The best meal in a long time.... the farmers that provided for you would be immensely proud of you. I would especially like to call out Nicole and Halle, if you are making everyone's celebrations this perfect, your job is more than well done. Nicole, with your service and knowledge you transported us to a favorite memory while making new memories. And to Halle, a high school student hustling with ease and professionalism beyond her years, keep up the excellent work - your future is bright. This is a recommendation for a special dinner, or a need for scratch made French onion soup... Excellent.

Our first visit, had a very enjoyable meal. The decor has a warm feel, and we were seated by the fireplace. The staff was all friendly and efficient. Even the background music was soothing and contributed to the ambiance. Our food was outstanding, including the soups and salads. The menu is heavy on steak, but also has other selections and I have the salmon special. Portions are not large, but lots of flavor combinations and nice prrsentation. Broad selection of wine, beer and cocktails. We also had cheesecake for dessert, great ending to our dining experience.
